2 months old.....

Andrew is 9 weeks old, and he had his 2 month check-up today. He weighed 11 pounds and 13 ounces and is now 22 1/4 inches long. Andrew has had some tummy issues lately, and Dr. Knudsen thinks it's probably acid reflux. We are starting to give him Mylanta with each of his bottles, and we are hoping that will help. He also got his 2 month shots today. He screamed during the first one, but after that, he was doing fine. Overall, Dr. Knudsen said he is doing great!

Andrew loves his activity mat now. We pulled it out a few weeks ago, and he'll lay under it for a while and stare at the toys hanging above him. One of the toys plays music, so if we pull the toy, he'll turn his head towards the noise.

He has also started smiling a lot more lately. He has 3 different smiles. One is a big grin from ear to ear, one is with his mouth wide open and his nose scrunched, and the other is with his tongue sticking out. It is the cutest thing ever! He's also cooing and loves to try to talk to us.

We try to have tummy time during the day to strengthen his little neck. His arms and legs are pretty strong because he began rolling over at 3 weeks. The first time he did it he was on the couch (with me and Gary), and we thought it was just the slant on the couch. We put him on the floor and within a few minutes, he did it again!

Andrew still loves his bath time. His little bath tub has a hammock on the top that we use when we are washing him, and he likes to put one of his legs over the side into the water. It's the funniest thing.

He still isn't sleeping through the night yet, so we are hoping that will happen in the next few weeks. One night he will go 5-6 hours and the next will be 4 hours. I love the nights that I only have to get up once. We are working on our daytime schedule of wake time and napping, so I am hoping that will be more consistent in the next week or so.

We are so blessed to have Andrew is our lives, and it's been so amazing to watch him grow these past 2 months. I love my time at home with him during the day, and I am so thankful that I don't have to miss out on any of his precious moments.
