It's been tough for me to get a picture of Owen smiling because he usually stops as soon as I bring out the camera. I managed to get this precious one the other day. He's smiling and cooing more and more each week.

We opened presents at our house between the 4 of us the Sunday before Christmas. Gary and I are so blessed to have 2 amazing boys. Each year it is even more fun to watch Andrew open presents because he gets so excited, and Owen slept through most of it.

Andrew came out of his room that day with the Mr. Potato Head glasses on his face. I couldn't stop laughing! Andrew is 2 yrs and 7 months.

Owen's Check-Ups

At Owen's 1 month appointment on November 29th, he was 9 pounds, 12 ounces and 20.5 inches long. He was wearing 0-3 month clothes and size 1 diapers.

We took Owen to the doctor on December 15th because his belly button was sticking out a lot. The doctor said he has an umbilical hernia. It should heal on its own by the time he's a year old and if not, we'll have to take him for an outpatient procedure to fix it. He was 11 pounds, 9 ounces that day.

At his 2 month appointment on December 30th, Owen was 13 pounds, 5 ounces and 22.25 inches long. He was wearing 3-6 month clothes and is moving into size 2 diapers.

Owen is healthy and growing like a weed!
