Christmas in Memphis, TN

Christmas with the Reynolds

Christmas in Auburn, AL

Here's our tree before we started decorating. We got it Friday, November 19th (we know it was early), so we had quite a few needles to pick up after Christmas :)

On the Monday before Christmas. we opened our presents just the 3 of us. Andrew loved his new books and his little toys.

Andrew helped me open my beautiful bracelet from him.

Here are a few pictures that were taken for our Christmas card. Luckily, I was able to get a few before he fell in the mud in the front yard :)

Let the Christmas Season Begin!

Gary and I decided to start decorating for Christmas this weekend. We know that it's a little early, but we usually spend most of the holidays in Memphis with our family and only have a few weeks to enjoy all the decorations. We had a lot of fun picking out the lights and getting them around the house. Andrew had fun playing outside during all of this, and our dog, Chipper probably enjoyed chewing up one of our big extension cords today :)

HALLOWEEN 2009!

Here's our little monkey.

Getting ready for some trick-or-treating.....

We had a lot of fun sitting outside in our chairs passing out candy to the neighbors. He only wanted to wear the top part of his costume for a short time, so he's taking a break with a snack :)

Andrew and Nathan went trick-or-treating in the wagon together. Nathan is Jennie and Brock's little boy, and they are our neighbors and part of our Sunday school class at Parkway.

Gary and I dressed up like Mario and Luigi for the Fall Festival at Parkway. We were so busy that we forgot to take a picture together with the 3 of us, but here are 2 pictures from that night.

Ravioli Dinner

Here are a few pictures that Gary took during dinner the other night. Andrew is a complete mess after eating his ravioli.

Andrew is learning to use a spoon and fork. He still prefers to use his hands, but he will use the spoon if I help him get the food on it.

Being silly....

This face means "I'm all done!"

Check-up with Dr. Greer

We took Andrew for his 18 month check-up today and his last round of shots until he's about 4. Yay! He's now 30 inches long and 25 pounds. He's in about the 10th percentile for height and 50th for weight. Gary looked just like Andrew at this age, so I am curious to see if he'll be tall like his daddy one day. He's doing great developmentally and seems to be right on track with everything. Praise God for a great report and for our incredible blessing!

18 months old!

It's really hard for me to believe that my little boy is 18 months old!

Mamaw and Papaw came down to visit for a weekend, and we had such a great time with them! In addition to hanging out and playing Canasta, they helped us decorate for the fall and plant some new trees in our yard. Here's Mamaw reading Andrew a new Elmo book.

Mimi took me and Andrew to the beach for a few days while Gary was backpacking with Cary and Chadd. We had a wonderful time, and Andrew was a trooper through all the shopping and eating out. Andrew had the best time walking and crawling up and down the stairs near the beach and pool.

In the last month or so, Andrew has gotten very confident walking everywhere and is learning new things all the time. He's also all over the place and wanting to climb on everything, including shelves at Target or Walmart. Last Friday, he started climbing up the ladder on his little tree house and slid down all by himself. He loves to be outside all the time.

Sorry that the video is so dark.
