We had a 3 week Christmas break from preschool. After we got back from traveling, we had some fun and relaxing days at home. I was thankful to spend some extra time with Andrew and Owen.

We've had a mild winter, so we've enjoyed spending some time outside.

There's never a dull moment at our house :) I am so blessed to be the mommy of these precious boys!

I love working at a preschool where Andrew is only 3 doors down the hallway from my class. I can pop in and see him whenever I want and get to see him during playground time. It's great! I went and saw him during his "show-n-share" time last Thursday, so here's a short video as he shares his things for the letter "P." He brought a penguin, Percy the train, and a pig.

Christmas in Memphis

We all had an awesome week in Memphis for Christmas! We bounced back and forth every other night between the Snuffins and Reynolds, and we enjoyed spending a lot of time with both families. We also found time to sneak in a lunch with some of our best friends that we miss and don't see often.

My dad surprised my mom with a cruise vacation. She's always wanted to go! The exciting part is that my mom and I are going together just the 2 of us. We leave on May 3rd, and we can't wait!

The boys look exhausted. It's time to head back to Auburn with a car load of toys and gifts. We are so blessed!

Christmas in Auburn

We travel to Memphis to celebrate Christmas with our family. Before we left town, we had our Christmas in Auburn. We enjoyed a yummy dinner at Cracker Barrel, and we opened presents with just the 4 of us.

Andrew opened some Thomas puzzles, a watch, a race car, and a baseball mit. Owen got an Elmo book with a drum, bath toys, and an alphabet magnet game for the kitchen. We got both of the boys a Tonka dump truck and bulldozer. The boys had a blast opening their presents!

Pre-Christmas Activities

One of our traditions for our family is making a gingerbread house. Andrew has had a lot of fun helping, and Owen was trying to help too although he just wanted to grab everything :)

Owen has been taking steps here and there since about 12 months, but this week, he's decided that he is officially a walker (13 1/2 months for my records). Can't believe it! He is all over the place now.


It's so amazing to see the differences between my boys. A was almost 16 months before he started walking, but I'm pretty sure O is going to do everything he can to keep up with his big brother.
