It's hard to believe that Owen is 9 months old. In the past month, he's gone from scooting to creeping to crawling very quickly. Now he's everywhere and into everything. He's the complete opposite of his brother. Andrew was a cautious child and took his time moving. Owen will get to anything he wants and will attempt to dive off the couch or bed in a heartbeat. He's had quite a few bumps from trying to get into the trash can, shelves, bags, baskets, etc. He's definitely keeping us on our toes these days :) He is still any easy going little guy and is always smiling. We certainly love this sweet little guy!
Owen's baby dedication was this past Sunday, August 7th.
Sometimes it's hard to get the boys to cooperate on pics, so we'll try anything to get them to look at the camera.
Getting into mischief. Shortly after this, he was trying to get to the plunger.
He loves to watch Chip from our back door.

Here are a few things for my records:
- He's 24 pounds 14 ounces (95th percentile) and 30 inches long (90th percentile)
- Wearing 18 month clothes and size 4 diapers
- Crawling, pulling up to his knees, and taking a few steps around the furniture
- Eating some pick-up food and seems to like everything but peas. Sweet potatoes are a favorite!
- He has 2 teeth on the bottom and loves to have them brushed
- Points his finger at things. Most of the time it's covered in drool.
- Gibber gabbers all day long with a few syllables here and there. I hear "ma ma" more than anything :)
- Likes to make kissing and motor boat noises
- Loves to read stories or at least flip the pages
- Sleeps with his little puppy that makes soothing sounds
- Tries to get his hands on any paper he sees. It's almost a daily thing for us to stop him from eating it.
- Started a little discipline this week and he's learning the word "no"
- Loves playing with his big brother!
