New Favorite Cookbook
For the months of November and December, I didn't really cook much for us because we were SO busy, and I was in a rut with all of my recipes. We had a lot of soup and grilled cheese nights or just quick dinners. At Christmas, I got The Biggest Loser Cookbook, and it has been awesome! So far, we've made 5 recipes from it that have been healthy and delicious.

Here are a few that we've tried so far, and we are planning to have the Grilled Chicken Parmesan for Dinner and the Spinach, Egg, and Cheese Wrap for Breakfast sometime this week...
- Texas Caviar (Black bean and corn salsa)
- Buffalo Chicken Meatloaf
- Spaghetti and Meatballs
- Meatball Subs (used meatballs from previous recipe that I had frozen)
- Roasted Tilapia with Fire-Roasted Tomatoes

Our Crazy Dog Chipper
It's been a while since I posted anything about Chipper, so I thought everyone might like to see our furry family member.
Chip is a ball of energy and has been so much fun. He's still in a bit of a destructive stage, so I thought it would be fun to remember all the things that he's torn up over the past year in our backyard.....
Grill Cover
Frame of Our Back Door
Water Hose
Water Hose Sprayer
Extension Cord (used for Christmas lights)
Countless Toys
Newspaper
His Blanket
His Doghouse
Cups
Drainage Catcher from Gutters
Umbrella for the Patio Furniture
We've learned that anything that we leave in the backyard is fair game for him to chew :) We are hoping this stage will end soon, but we love him and have so much fun playing with him, going on walks as a family, and taking him to the park.

Christmas in Auburn, AL
Here's our tree before we started decorating. We got it Friday, November 19th (we know it was early), so we had quite a few needles to pick up after Christmas :)

Christmas Card Photo Shoot
Here are a few pictures that were taken for our Christmas card. Luckily, I was able to get a few before he fell in the mud in the front yard :)

Let the Christmas Season Begin!
Gary and I decided to start decorating for Christmas this weekend. We know that it's a little early, but we usually spend most of the holidays in Memphis with our family and only have a few weeks to enjoy all the decorations. We had a lot of fun picking out the lights and getting them around the house. Andrew had fun playing outside during all of this, and our dog, Chipper probably enjoyed chewing up one of our big extension cords today :)

HALLOWEEN 2009!
Here's our little monkey.
We had a lot of fun sitting outside in our chairs passing out candy to the neighbors. He only wanted to wear the top part of his costume for a short time, so he's taking a break with a snack :)
Andrew and Nathan went trick-or-treating in the wagon together. Nathan is Jennie and Brock's little boy, and they are our neighbors and part of our Sunday school class at Parkway.
Gary and I dressed up like Mario and Luigi for the Fall Festival at Parkway. We were so busy that we forgot to take a picture together with the 3 of us, but here are 2 pictures from that night.

Ravioli Dinner
Here are a few pictures that Gary took during dinner the other night. Andrew is a complete mess after eating his ravioli.

Andrew is learning to use a spoon and fork. He still prefers to use his hands, but he will use the spoon if I help him get the food on it.

Being silly....

This face means "I'm all done!"
